June....

I am going to start this month off with some bad news. As you can see in the photo to the left my pond is empty!!
Yes after years of hard work (and not to mention the emotional and financial investment) someone has come into my garden and stole all of my fish.
A word of warning to other people with fish in the West Penwith area, I am not the only person who have lost all of their fish. One elderly gentleman nearby, has had four large ponds completely emptied. He took 25 years to amass this large collection of koi.
If you see anything suspicious, please contact Penzance police station....

On a lighter note, what a fantastic month so far, plenty of sunshine and just enough rain too keep the plants healthy.

June 18th.....

It's been a relaxing evening in the garden tonight, the plants are growing at a phenomenal rate at the moment. My peas are now ready to harvest, you can't beat the sweet flavour of freshly picked peas.
The mixed vibrant diverse colours of my Petunia's are providing an astounding display this month, as are the Pansy's and they are so easy to cultivate.

June 23th.....
